Spend two days hiking from rice fields into bamboo forest, sleeping in a Karen village, and meeting rescued elephants. Travel from central Bangkok to Damnoen Saduak and Mae Klong with a guide such as Lin, Nina, or Jim. You’ll ride a motorboat, watch market stalls fold for a passing train, visit a coconut sugar farm, and possibly see Samut Sakhon salt fields. Private and luxury options are available.

Travel from Bangkok to Ratchaburi with an English-speaking guide such as Lin, Pop, or MK. Ride a longtail boat at Damnoen Saduak, watch a train pass through Maeklong Railway Market, visit a coconut sugar farm, and learn how seawater becomes salt. Choose standard or luxury transport.
