Set out from Cape Town at 8:30 a.m. with a private driver and visit animal centers across the Western Cape. You’ll see giraffes, rescued lions, Nile crocodiles, alpacas, and possibly cheetahs and primates. Gauthier has guided at least some departures, though pacing and guide availability can vary.

The cheetah, lion, monkey, and crocodile stops were well worth the time but the giraffe stop was not really worth it.”
