“Everything was great! We saw the most famous palces on Crete in 1 day. Knosos is the amazing place; cannot stop surprising what and how 4000 years ago all these was created...Each stop was very interesting; monasteries, villages, the cave and the view was so beautiful from any point. But the road to the cave is not an easy trail and not for everyone to handle. This has to be told in advance. Our guide Yani in a friendly manner provided very interesting info about each place we stopped. The lunch was delicious. The bus was clean with AC. Thank you”

Although advertised as a cooking class, we only cut some tomatoes and parsley as well as rolling some vine leaves. Not much cooking/preparing at all. Regardless, the experience felt intimate and personal given there were only 8 attendees. Felt like I was at grandma’s for lunch. Would highly recommend.”

Road-trip to Lasithi, Zeus Cave, Vidiani, Krasi & Olive Mill Farm

15.Road-trip to Lasithi, Zeus Cave, Vidiani, Krasi & Olive Mill Farm

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 79 reviews · 10 to 11 hours (approx.) · from $48

Spend 10 to 11 hours exploring Crete’s Lasithi Plateau by air-conditioned bus. With guides such as Tanya, Tania, or Helena, you’ll visit Vidiani Monastery, Zeus Cave, Krasi, and an olive mill farm. Expect mountain roads, a steep cave walk, a €15 cave fee, and optional lunch.

“This is a very large group tour and there are two monasteries and a very touristy stop at a shop selling olive oil and wine. Kids loved the pottery class though and it is a safe clean way to go to the cave which was the main reason we had taken it. It’s a beautiful drive but it took 10 hours total given multiple pick ups and drops - and the monasteries and olive tree stop were extra hours we wish we had just been able to skip.”
